From ancient times, people have been imagining intelligent machines that would liberate them from repetitive, copious and non-creative labor.  In recent years, with the great advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligent, this technology is becoming a reality. Intelligent production is arising and transforming the world around us. But what is intelligent production and how is it fundamentally different from all forms of production that we have experienced until now? What are its key characteristics? Furthermore, the technology of production has always played a crucial role on shaping human societies. How will intelligent production particularly shape our society and how humans interact with one another and the numerous intelligent agents that arise around them? What are the most prominent challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of us? Those are some of the questions that we will try to tackle in this talk.
