After graduating from the Athens University of Economics and Business in 2000, Stergos Afantenos obtained a PhD scholarship from the NCSR “Demokritos” and obtained his PhD from the University of Athens in 2006. Between 2007 and 2010 he held postdoctoral positions in CNRS at Marseille, the University of Nant and the University of Toulouse. Since October 2010 he is an Associate Professor in the University of Toulouse. Stergos Afantenos has worked on various computational linguistics issues including Automatic Summarization and Discourse Parsing.
